35mm f/2 Summicron-M

SKU: 16499
Pre Owned
Sale price£2,994.96 GBP

This German manufactured version IV 35mm f/2 is in good general condition with minor signs of use. The lens has a build date of 1993.

The evolution of the classical Summicron 35mm lens reached its zenith with this 7 elements in 5 groups design, introduced in 1979. Its long production life of twenty years signifies the quality of the lens. The correction philosophy gives the lens a smooth transition from sharp to unsharp areas and the blurred unsharpness patches in the background have earned this lens, maybe a bit undeservedly, the reputation that it is the 'King of Bokeh' for certain afficionados.
