Rare example of the Luftwaffen distributed IIIc, allocated to the German Airforce during WWII. Camera comes with period correct 5cm Elmar which was shipped along with the camera in 1941 but is lacking the engraving.
Camera is in used condition, finder is okay, slightly cloudy and slightly misaligned vertically, but retains decent contrast and patch definition. Shutter is in-accurate and drags due to the damage to the red blind, this looks like the degradation of the coating of the curtain whilst wrapped around the blind roller, leading to a residue to be left on the surface adjacent.
Wind on is okay, shutter dial moves well and frame counter working. Lens has some slight coating marks to the front and internal dust, otherwise both focus and aperture are good.
Camera comes with stamped grey case and front cap.
