The 'Leitz Wetzlar' engraved Monochrom 246, limited to only 150 pieces and designed to mark the 150th year since Erntz Leitz I became the sole owner and managing director of the former ‘Optische Institut’, later changing the name, becoming one of the most revered camera manufacturers in the world: 'Ernst Leitz Wetzlar'.
This example is in fine condition with minor wear, mainly to the top plate around the strap lugs and to the corners of the housing. Mechanically superb with good shutter, bright, well aligned rangefinder, clear meter reading and clean rear screen with all buttons modes and dials working.
The technical specifications of the camera are identical to those of the serial production model.
