Very early Leica M3 with many notable early features including glass pressure plate, double stroke winding lever and elongated strap lugs, serial number donates this camera as being the 1,695th example to leave the factory after production started in 1954.
The camera itself is in working, used condition with wear commensurate with age, mainly to the rear film door, some small patches of vulcanite are missing and some bright marks/ wear to the chrome work. The camera has been serviced so the shutter runs well, the rangefinder is bright and clear and the film wind on is smooth.
Body comes with cap.
