The fiftieth anniversary of the first production LEICA was marked by a special limited edition of the cameras current in 1975 (SL2, M4, M5, CL).
Each camera had a three-digit number prefixed with a single letter from the word LEICA and was engraved with '50 JAHRE' surrounded with oak leaves
