The low-profile compression fit installation on the spotting scope eyepiece let's you leave the adapter on at all times, while still allowing you to use the scope normally with your eye. A magnetic PROTECTIVE CAP is also included to give your lens the protection it deserves, eliminating the need for manufacturer provided lens protectors.
