The Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. Edition “Safari” brings Leica’s definitive fast fifty to the iconic matte olive-green Safari finish. Legendary for its natural perspective and signature Summilux rendering, the 50mm is the classic M focal length — now reimagined as a rare collector’s edition.
Technically identical to the standard Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH., this special edition features a durable olive-green lacquered finish, engraved paint-filled markings, and a matching classic round lens hood. The finish will gently patinate with use, complementing both historic and contemporary Safari edition Leica cameras, as well as black or silver M bodies.
