Designed To Leica Standards
The optical construction consists of 11 glass elements in six groups. Aspherical elements are manufactured using Leica’s in-house PGM process, helping correct aberrations from the earliest stages of optical design.
An 11-blade electronically controlled aperture creates smooth transitions in out-of-focus areas, while the lens communicates directly with Leica SL cameras through the L-Mount contact strip.
