The Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH. Edition “Safari” combines one of Leica’s most loved wide-angle lenses with the iconic matte olive-green Safari finish. Blending legendary optical performance with a distinctive, collector-grade look, it’s the perfect 28mm for reportage, travel, landscape and everyday storytelling on any Leica M camera.
Technically identical to the standard Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH., this special edition adds a robust olive-green lacquered finish with engraved, paint-filled markings and a matching classic round lens hood – a combination that will develop a unique patina over time and pair beautifully with Safari edition Leica bodies and black or silver M cameras alike.
